What makes this union special is that the outer collar is very close fitting to the body of the union and it's very short. Total diameter of this union max. is 2.8" compared to 3.75" across on the standard union. Overall length is only 2.6" compared to 3.4" long for the standard union. 1.5" slip socket on both ends. You won't find a tighter fitting, more compact 1.5" union on the planet! Good up to 80psi, but slightly longer (+3/8")and than the low pressure version.

2 MPT x 1.5 slip UnionSomewhat unusual fitting: 2" MPT by 1.5 slip socket (or 2" spigot) quick disconnect union. Normally you'd thread this into a 2" FPT (female NPT) and on the other side would have a 2" spigot (glues into a 2" fitting) or 1.5" slip socket. Note: the 2" spigot is a little loose and a little shallow. If you using the 2" spigot end, we recommend you cut the 2" socket you are gluing into by about 3/8" of an inch to assure best engagement.
