Canadian Customers
Yes, we can ship to Canada and do so on a daily basis. Most Canadian banks support address verification when we process your card. If yours is one of them, then when we run your credit card, it should come back whether it matches your address or not. If it does, you don't have to do anything else. However, there are times it does not work. If we can't get an automatic address verification, then you need to fill out and return our credit card authorization form. If you are in a hurry for your order, we suggest you do this when you place your order to expedite the processing of your order.
If your order is small we will ship First Class Mail to Canada. The price is good, but it can take 1-3 weeks to get. The next cheapest is UPS Ground. However it's very slow (1-3 weeks) and it can be caught up in customs, adding further delay. We are setup as direct importers into Canada via UPS, but that only means the documents are electronically sent, you still have to deal with customs on your end. The next cheapest way to send to Canada is Postal Priority Mail, however it's about 2x UPS ground. However, sometimes it can be cheaper in the long run because customs is less of a hassle with postal items than it is UPS. It's reasonably fast (about a week or less to the border). There is also UPS Express to Canada. The most expensive, and fast, but you will still have to deal with customs. If you need it fast, please be sure to put this information (how fast you need it) in the notes box on the check out page and we'll email you with your options and their cost. Import Duties into Canada: Our products are listed under "pipes, hoses, tubing" and it's a PVC, which is a Poly Vinyl Chloride. It should be listed around section 3917.23.10 or 3917.23.10 and 3917.33.00 and 3917.40.xx of the Customs Tariff Schedule. (If you can read and make sense of this document, it'll help you get the correct tariff fees or no fees.) All our Flexpvc and rigid pvc pipe is made in the USA. Almost all our fittings are made in the USA. There are a few items we sell made overseas. Some of the ball valves, check valves or other items are made in mexico, china, etc. They are marked so if someone were to examine the package they would see the stickers, but the vast majority of things we sell are still made in the USA. Based on the above Customs Tariff Schedule, the input tariff should be free or 6.5% plus their handling fee, which we think is $5. However (Please don't take our word for this. Please read the document mentioned above for yourself so you know for sure. ) Orders less than $20Canadian are exempt, and most of the time postal shipments go right through unless it's a big package.
International Customers
Basically the same applies to you. Just higher prices for shipping. Postal flat rate boxes are usually the best way as long as your items will fit in the box. They start out at $40-75/box and go up from there. Rolls of pipe cost $100 or more per roll to ship. Large orders (rolls of pipe and boxes of fittings) usually cost $300-$500 to ship to Europe or Australia. You will also need to fax or email us our credit card authorization form.
