All flexible pvc pipe is glued using stardard PVC pipe cement & primer, or our own environmentally safe pvc glue/primer and uses standard pvc fittings. Our flexible pvc pipe can be used in many plumbing & irrigation projects, any swimming pool, spaflex, hot-tub or whirlpool bathtub project#. In addition flexible pvc pipe works great for gardening, irrigation, fountains and ponds. (See Application guidelines.)		 Flexible PVC pipe colors

While it's true the initial pipe cost is higher for flexible pvc pipe than that of rigid pvc pipe, if you consider the time saved and the reduction of needed fittings by using flexible pvc pipe you will bring the job in at about the same cost, but save you lots of time and aggravation! Also, every fitting you eliminate is one less possibility of a leak. Plus your trenches don't have to be perfectly straight, nor do they have to be at 90 degree angles! Go around trees or other obstacles. :-) You are free to layout the system in any shape or pattern you like.

All white Flexible PVC pipe 1/2" to 2" we sell meets applicable UPC, USPC, ANSI, IAMPO, and NSF 50 (white only) specifications, as well as City of LA, Southern Building Code, and Dade County for PVC Hose, but is not for use with potable water. The gray flexible PVC is approved for UL in sizes 1/2", 3/4" 1" & 2" for electrical conduit, but you have to specify "UL rated" in the "comments" section on your order and there is a 10% addition to the price of the pipe. Only gray is available with a UL rating. There are no ratings for black flexible PVC pipe so there are none to meet. Beige flexible pvc pipe has been discontinued.

*Note regarding flexible PVC pipe 2.5" or above, and gray or black colored flexible PVC: There are no plumbing or swimming pool codes for flexible pvc pipe 2.5" and above so these sizes of flexible pvc pipe can't meet any. The color for 2.5" and above is black or gray. Flexible PVC pipe in 2.5" and larger sizes only available by the roll or 4' sections, 8' sections, by the foot and sometimes in the clearance section. Black flexible PVC pipe is only approved for irrigation and pools. Also see shipping cost for additional shipping information. The beige color has been discontinued.

#Application guidelines: Flexible PVC Pipe can not be used for potable water and should not be used in conditions of deadhead pressure. There should always be a flow through the pipe. Constant deadhead pressure may balloon the pipe and eventually it may fail. Please keep this information in mind when selecting flexible PVC pipe for a project. It you use a booster pump for your swimming pool it is not recommended. Normal swimming pools with only one standard pump are fine.
